With over 30 years of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities—including those with intellectual disabilities, autism, and complex communication needs—I’ve dedicated my career to advancing quality of life through person-centered, rights-focused support. I attended Indiana University and the University of South Florida, focusing on Psychology and History, and I have knowledge of American Sign Language. I use person-first language and strive to uphold the dignity, autonomy, and individual goals of the people I support. As the Founding Consultant of Orion Quality Consulting, I help Medicaid Waiver Providers and small businesses implement systems that support individualized care, ensure compliance, and remain audit-ready.

In addition to my consulting work, I am a Microsoft Power User and SharePoint Developer specializing in custom Microsoft365 solutions for human service providers. My development background includes experience with C#, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, ASP.NET, jQuery, and Microsoft SQL Server. I design and build secure, user-friendly platforms that support electronic documentation, staff training compliance, data collection, and workflow automation—empowering providers to meet both regulatory standards and person-centered goals.

I continue to maintain a commitment to innovation through the systems I develop are informed by current best practices in the field, including Positive Behavior Support (PBS), assistive technology integration, trauma-informed care, and self-determination frameworks. I am proud to support Providers in their efforts to create inclusive, tech-enabled environments that value the voice and autonomy of the people they serve.
